Becky completed NothinButSnow’s level 1 & 2 snowboard instructor course in April 2015 and will be returning to Big White Ski Resort to work as a snowboard instructor after completing a winter in Japan and a summer of traveling.
We caught up with Becky who had these words of advice to anyone looking to follow in her footsteps.
“Do it! My motto is “if it scares you, do it!” Moving to the other side of the world to become a snowboard instructor definitely terrified me, but it’s the best decision I’ve ever made. Even with instructing itself, talking in front of a group of people made me really nervous at first and dropping off Big Whites “the cliff” made my knees wobble, but I did these things and the feeling you get after facing these challenges is priceless! So just call NBS and DO IT, you only live once!” Becky
