Avalanche Course – AST Level 1

Essential training for those who want off-piste adventures 

The course is very comprehensive and includes a range of topics delivered in the classroom and out in the backcountry. You will be taught how to plan and travel safely in avalanche terrain. Understand the various types of snowpack and apply risk control methods.

Anyone can go and buy a transceiver and a shovel, but out in the untouched powder bowls knowledge is your ultimate companion to stay safe. Aside from teaching you great skills and being a lot of fun, the AST level 1 is the first professional training level for anyone seeking employment in avalanche risk management operations and guiding.

CAT Skiing / Boarding

Put those powder skills to the test in Canada’s DEEP powder 

You’ve seen all the videos of people charging deep powder and pillow lines. Now its time to star in your own powder movie! GoPro’s at the ready, it’s time to head in to the backcountry and experience fresh new lines and powdery pillows for an unforgettable adventure.

You’ll spend the entire day with a guide and cover all safety procedures before climbing in to your very own snow CAT. After a solid few hours of endless powder runs, you will stop for lunch in a beautiful backcountry setting then repeat the mornings epic lines.

N.B. Spaces are limited and fill very fast.

Heli Skiing / Boarding

Go BIG or go home 

Your Art of Flight Red Bull moment awaits. Jump in to your very own helicopter for some awe-inspiring skiing or boarding. The steepest and deepest lines are ready for you to shred with jaw dropping spectacular views as your backdrop. A private mountain range, fresh snow, blue skies and a heli for transport is the pinnacle of a backcountry adventure for any ski or snowboard enthusiast.

Spend the morning prepping the body with a full buffet breakfast. Followed by collecting all of your safety equipment and powder skis or boards. A safety briefing and beacon training will complete your pre flight prep and your ACMG / AIAGM guides will whisk you offer to your heli and guide you throughout your days adventure.

After this once in a life time experience ends you will be taken back for après snacks and beers to end the day.

Freestyle Course

Get gnarlier and learn how to teach people to throw down 

Become a freestyle coach by completing this course and collecting your freestyle certification. Explore techniques and teaching methods that relate to terrain park freestyle. Gain a thorough safety understanding and develop a skill set that will ensure you a prepared for success when hitting a feature or kicker.

NBS Road Trip

All aboard the powder bus, it’s time to explore British Columbia 

Are you looking for the raddest way to close out your time with us here at NothinButSnow? You are?! Sweet! Sign up to the NBS road trip, because we are going on an adventure to a few more resorts in Canada.

Enjoy the fantastic scenery this part of the world has to offer as we head towards Revelstoke mountain resort, your first stop on the powder highway. Your first full day of riding after a good nights rest awaits you. It’s your opportunity to put all of those new skills you have been taught to the test. Explore this very challenging mountain, but enjoy every turn.

Then we head to our second destination of the trip, Silver Star mountain. A further nights rest and relaxation will have you ready to explore their steep powder filled chutes, long black diamond runs and glades. With 45% of the terrain aimed at advanced skiers and riders you’ll enjoy plenty of adrenaline action as you explore this mountain resort.

CADS Level 1 Course

Skiing is fun for everyone  

The Canadian Association for Disabled Skiing is truly an outstanding organisation committed to the idea that skiing is for everyone. Gain the skills required to become certified as a CADS level 1 instructor and help someone enjoy a fun and exciting day out on snow.

Experience sit skiing, learn techniques to deal with disabled skiers and the various teaching aids available. This course is an extremely fun course we recommend to everyone.

First Aid Course

You Can Help  

Learn the basics of first aid and feel confident you can help someone in need whilst you wait for the professionals to arrive.

CSCF Race Coach

Be the fastest out of the gate  

The Canadian Ski Coaches Federation offer a entry level race coach course for any skier who is interested in becoming hired to start coaching entry level children. Learn about various ski racing technique and gate drills for SL and GS.

Fast fun for 3 days which could start your career as a race coach!
