The terms set out below apply between you and NothinButSnow LTD, a registered company in England and Wales. We ask that you read these carefully before you book. All information provided to NothinButSnow is held with confidence and protected under the Data Protection Act 1998.
1. Booking With us
1.1. In order to secure a place on one of our courses, please complete the booking form and send it with a non-refundable deposit of £400, unless you are booking within 12 weeks of travel in which case 50% of the entire course cost will be due upon booking.
1.2. Once the required payment is received NothinButSnow will offer you a place on your desired course at its discretion. We will then send you your booking confirmation together with an invoice. Once this confirmation is sent you have entered into a contract with NothinButSnow therefore these conditions apply.
1.3. If for any reason NothinButSnow does not offer you a place your deposit is refundable.
1.4. NothinButSnow Ltd do not store credit or debit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties.
2. Payment and Prices
2.1. The non-refundable deposit of £400 is to be paid at time of booking.
2.2. The remainder of the course payment (unless 2.7 below applies) is to be paid in 4 separate instalments before departure, and the balance must be paid up in full 12 weeks before departure, unless agreed otherwise in writing by NothinButSnow. These payment dates will be confirmed at the time of booking and detailed within your invoice.
2.3. If a payment is not paid on time as specified within your payment invoice, a late charge fee of 3% of the payment amount will be charged. If any payment is unpaid later than 7 days after the set payment date, NothinButSnow reserve the right to cancel your booking, in which case your previous payments including deposit will not be refundable.
2.4. Unless full payment for the desired course is paid at the time of booking NothinButSnow reserves the right to increase the cost in respect to cost increases incurred by the company which are outside our control. This can be due to fuel, airport costs/tax currency or government action (both UK or foreign). NothinButSnow will absorb any cost increase up to 2%. Amounts more than 2% will be added to your course cost.
2.5. Once within 12 weeks of departure you are now fully committed to the course and any cancellation will be non-refundable.
2.6. If you book within 12 weeks of departure an immediate payment of 50% of the entire course cost is due at booking and no cancellation will be available.
2.7. Notwithstanding the provisions of term 2 (Payment and Prices) above, you may enter into a loan agreement with NothinButSnow on the terms and subject to the conditions set out therein (the “Loan”) pursuant to which NothinButSnow agrees to lend you a percentage of the course cost. If you enter into the Loan you will be obliged to pay the non-refundable deposit of £400 at the time of booking and 75% of the remainder of the course payment in 2 separate instalments before departure, unless agreed otherwise in writing by NothinButSnow. The remaining amount of the course payment (up to 25%) shall be deferred subject to the terms and conditions of the Loan.
3. Changes or amendments by you
3.1. NothinButSnow will do all it can to accommodate you if you wish to change or alter your booking. Please be aware that requested alterations may be out of NothinButSnow’s control.
3.2. If you cannot travel you may transfer your booking to another person. This must be done within 3 weeks of the departure date and you must agree to pay any charges that are incurred due to this change. This transfer does not include a return flight. Your course place is all that can be transferred. It will be the responsibility of the transferee to arrange transport to the resort.
3.3. If you wish to completely cancel you will not be eligible for a refund of payments made.
3.4. If you do not wish to take the examinations included within the course you must inform us at the time of booking to have the cost removed from your course package. Any decision to not undergo the exams once the programme has started will not allow for a refund of said exams.
4. Changes or amendments by us
4.1. NothinButSnow reserves the right to cancel your booking. In this case you can either have a full refund or can accept an alternative.
4.2. NothinButSnow may be required to amend part of the course you have chosen as advertised. If the amendment is drastic we will inform you as soon as possible and you will be transferred to an alternative course that delivers the same qualifications.
4.3. Neither party shall be liable in damages or have the right to terminate this contract for any delay or default in performing hereunder if such delay or default is caused by conditions beyond its control including, but not limited to Acts of God, Government restrictions (including the denial or cancellation of any export or other necessary license), wars, insurrections and/or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of the party whose performance is affected.
5. Information
5.1. All information provided by NothinButSnow on its website and brochure is given in good faith and is accurate to the best of NothinButSnow’s knowledge at the time it is made publicly available.
6. Insurance
6.1. In order to be able to travel on your desired course you must be insured throughout the duration of the course.
6.2. This insurance must be submitted to NothinButSnow prior to the departure date. If this is not submitted or sufficient cover has not been taken out, then we reserve the right to cancel your trip and you will ineligible for a refund.
7. Responsibilities
7.1. Skiing and snowboarding hold a high degree of risk and by choosing to take part you acknowledge such risk and that NothinButSnow accepts no liability if you incur injury or death due to your own acts. Please note that this does not affect your statutory rights.
7.2. In the event of an injury, NothinButSnow will do all it can to assist you where possible.
7.3. You are responsible for behaving appropriately on and off the mountain, should you not conduct yourself correctly you may be asked to leave the mountain. NothinButSnow may also ask you to leave the course if we feel you are behaving unacceptably. The ski and snowboard school providing the training can impose its own code of conduct for behaviour and personal presentation and also reserves the right to remove a student from the training program if they repeatedly behave inappropriately. In these cases, no refund will be available.
7.4. You are responsible for turning up on time for lessons.
7.5. When applying for a course with us you must be honest with your ability level. If your standard of skiing/snowboarding is not to the level you indicated it may not be practical or safe to include you in group classes. In the event of this you may have to join general ski school classes at your own expense until you reach the level deemed appropriate for a NothinButSnow class.
8. Accommodation Responsibilities
8.1. You must take care of the accommodation provided and adhere to the rules given to you by the owner/ renter of the property. Upon arrival at your resort a damage deposit of $300 CAD or £200 GBP will be collected from each student. This will be refunded up to 2 weeks after check out, subject to any damage or excessive cleaning. Guests assumes all financial responsibility for property damage incurred by tenants or guests. Damage includes, but is not restricted to: noise complaints, common or private property damage, excessive cleaning charges, lost or broken or missing common or private property items, smoking inside the property, pets inside the property and all charges relating to security company or police involvement regarding property occupant’s behaviour while in the property or on common premises. An additional credit card hold will be taken for $1000.00 CAD.
8.2. Quiet time is 10:00pm to 7:00am. Guests may be evicted subsequent to noise complaints and will be charged for any damages resulting from the noise complaints. The outdoor hot tub area may be used after 10:00pm, but please engage only in quiet conversation after 10:00pm out of respect for our neighbouring guests and those who also live within the same property.
8.3. The following conditions and circumstances will result in eviction from our property: smoking, excessive noise, common and private property damage, pets, more overnight guests than permitted by owner. You will be evicted for excessive noise, common and private property damage, disturbing the peace. In such case, you will be responsible to find alternate accommodation at your own cost.
8.4. House parties are not permitted.
8.5. No ski or snowboard equipment is to be brought in to your accommodation. Please use ski lockers and garages provided.
8.6. No shoes are to be worn within your accommodation. Please use the reception areas to store your footwear.
9. Health and Medication
9.1. You should inform NothinButSnow of any medical condition you have or medication you need to take so that we can pass it on to instructors in charge of your course so that they can ensure your health and safety.
10. Issues and complaints
10.1. Any problems brought to light will be settled as quickly as possible. These must be made aware to the NothinButSnow representatives at the time. If you wish to complain and take an issue further this must be sent in writing to NothinButSnow either by email or to the office. The address is located on the website.
11. Personal arrangements
11.1. If you decide to make your own travel arrangements you should ensure that you check your flight details and are responsible for having all the correct documents. Should you arrive late or miss any travel departures NothinButSnow cannot be held responsible for extra costs incurred.
11.2. If you book a trip locally please be aware NothinButSnow can not take responsibility for any problems that may occur. NothinButSnow is not responsible for any problems that may occur.
12. Non-Assignment
12.1. You cannot transfer or assign your rights under this contract without the written consent of NothinButSnow.
13. Entire Agreement
13.1. This contract constitutes the entire agreement between the contracting parties. There are no warranties, representations, covenants, or agreements, express or implied, between the parties except those expressly set forth in this contract. Any amendments or modifications of this contract shall be in writing and executed by the contracting parties. This clause does not seek to exclude liability for fraud.
14. Governing Law and jurisdiction
14.1. The terms and conditions and any not contractual obligations arising out of or in connection with this contract are governed by the law of England. Any and all disputes arising out of or in connection with this contract shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
15. Exclusion of third party rights
15.1. These terms and conditions are for the benefit of you and NothinButSnow, and are not intended to benefit any third party or be enforceable by any third party.
16. Your Financial Protection
16.1. When you buy an ATOL protected air holiday package and flights from NothinButSnow Ltd you will receive a confirmation invoice from us confirming your arrangements and your protection under our Air Travel Organiser’s License number 10319. In the unlikely event of our insolvency, the CAA will ensure that you are not stranded abroad and will arrange to refund any money you have paid to us for an advanced booking. 16.2. The price of our holiday packages includes the amount of £2.50 per person as part of the ATOL Protection Contribution (APC) we pay to the CAA. This charge is included in our advertised prices.
16.3. When you buy an ATOL protected flight or flight inclusive holiday from us you will receive an ATOL Certificate. This lists what is financially protected, where you can get information on what this means for you and who to contact if things go wrong.
16.4. We, or the suppliers identified on your ATOL Certificate, will provide you with the services listed on the ATOL Certificate (or a suitable alternative). In some cases, where neither we nor the supplier are able to do so for reasons of insolvency, an alternative ATOL holder may provide you with the services you have bought or a suitable alternative (at no extra cost to you). You agree to accept that in those circumstances the alternative ATOL holder will perform those obligations and you agree to pay any money outstanding to be paid by you under your contract to that alternative ATOL holder. However, you also agree that in some cases it will not be possible to appoint an alternative ATOL holder, in which case you will be entitled to make a claim under the ATOL scheme (or your credit card issuer where applicable).
16.5. If we, or the suppliers identified on your ATOL certificate, are unable to provide the services listed (or a suitable alternative, through an alternative ATOL holder or otherwise) for reasons of insolvency, the Trustees of the Air Travel Trust may make a payment to (or confer a benefit on) you under the ATOL scheme. You agree that in return for such a payment or benefit you assign absolutely to those Trustees any claims which you have or may have arising out of or relating to the non-provision of the services, including any claim against us, the travel agent (or your credit card issuer where applicable). You also agree that any such claims may be re-assigned to another body, if that other body has paid sums you have claimed under the ATOL scheme.
17. Flights and Transfer
17.1. Group return flights and airport transfers can be included in course packages and are for customers travelling from the UK only. If you are travelling from outside of the UK then you will have two options, either to travel to the UK for the group flight in which case you must arrive no less than 4 hours prior to departure or arrange your own flight and airport transfers to your course destination. This must be decided at the time of booking. The airline used by NothinButSnow can change at any time.
17.2. If you decide to make your own way to your course destination then this is at your own expense.
17.3. Canada has introduced a new entry requirement, known as an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA). If you are a foreign traveller and you do not require a visa to travel to Canada, you’re expected to apply online for an eTA before travelling to Canada by air. Exceptions include U.S. citizens and any travellers who currently hold a valid visa. The application process is affordable, doesn’t take long to complete, and in most cases the eTA will be granted within minutes of applying. To apply and find out more, visit Canada.ca/eTA. It is the passenger’s personal responsibility to ensure that they have valid documentation which meets the requirements to enter Canada.
18. Free Stickers
18.1. Two stickers are sent per request.
18.2. All requests must have a valid email address and a valid postal address. NothinButSnow will only allow one sticker request per postal address.
18.3. From time to time NothinButSnow may contact you with news, offers and information. Your personal details will be held securely by NothinButSnow, NothinButSnow will not pass your personal details on to any third party companies.
18.4. NothinButSnow reserves the right to cancel and withdraw any sticker request at any time.

Your personal details will be held securely by NothinButSnow, NothinButSnow will not pass your personal details on to any third party companies.
20. Privacy Policy
20.1. We may periodically send promotional emails about new products, special offers or other information which we think you may find interesting using the email address which you have provided.
20.2. From time to time, we may also use your information to contact you for market research purposes. We may contact you by email, phone or mail.
20.3. Our website may contain links to other websites of interest. However, once you have used these links to leave our site, you should note that we do not have any control over that other website. Therefore, we cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information which you provide whilst visiting such sites and such sites are not governed by this privacy statement. You should exercise caution and look at the privacy statement applicable to the website in question.
20.4. NothinButSnow Ltd will not provide any customer contact information with third parties.
21. Free Level 1 Exam Re-sit
21.1. Any student who takes part in a “long” 12 week ski or snowboard instructor course will benefit from a free CSIA or CASI Level 1 exam re-sit should they fail any part of this qualification and meet the criteria of this offer. To qualify all students must attend every lesson available to them in the run up to this exam. They must conduct themselves in a respectable manner, be attentive to their instructor and complete each module of the training programme.
22. Pass Rates
22.1. All advertised exam pass rates are taken from all of NothinButSnow’s 12 week season long ski and snowboard instructor training courses.
22.2. Pass rate percentages are calculated by taking the number of students who passed (a) dividing between the number of total participants (b) multiplied by 100 to produce a total percentage pass rate (c).
