James completed NothinButSnow’s level 1 & 2 ski instructor course in April 2015 and will be returning to Big White Ski Resort this very winter to work as a ski instructor after completing a winter in Japan.
We caught up with James who had these words of advice to anyone looking to follow in her footsteps.
“Perseverance pays off. And don’t worry if you miss out first time. I missed out on working at Big white last season because of a visa issue, but that opened the door for me to experience Japow! Which was mind blowing. Work hard and pay attention. And remember skiing is so sick and so is the feeling of watching someone you’ve taught how to ski! ” James
