Why did you choose to do a course?
I wanted to improve my skiing and had the year off, so had time to do it.

Doing the Cliff for the first time in a whiteout, it was petrifying but incredible.

Why did you choose to do a course?
I chose to do an NBS course because I have always had a passion for skiing and the outdoors. At first, I was unsure about gaining my ski instructors but after a chat with Leigh and the guys from NBS, I was quickly persuaded. I had always wanted to ski in Canada and NBS gave me that opportunity. I love meeting new people, enjoying new experiences and to spend 3 months out at Big White, NBS had me sold.
What made you choose NothinButSnow?
I choose NothinButSnow because straight from the moment I met the team I could see they were people focused. Leigh showed that he really cared about the students who took the course and would do anything to make sure they had a good time. Also the whole package offered so much more than any other company in the market. To note a few; 5 star accommodation, more tuition on the slopes, smaller ski groups, meals, flights/transport etc. Although, the main selling point for me was that NBS had everything taken care of. Customer service was evidently clear, everything was professional, organised and from the word go there was nothing to worry about.

To sum up the course experience, NBS has a great gap program where everyone is out there for their own individual love and passion for skiing/snowboarding. Not only are you skiing everyday but you are around great, like-minded people and it certainly becomes a tight knitted group. The NBS team do everything they can to help you on your way to success. The course pass rates definitely reflects this, top level tuition, exam preparation and a good social atmosphere make gaining the qualifications fun and stress free! The 5 star accommodation and food was also superb and well maintained throughout the course of the season.

Enjoyable, Life-changing, Eventful, Upbeat and Paradise.
What was the highlight of your trip?
One highlight what stood out for me was one Friday we had about 11 cm of fresh powder dumped overnight. Big White hadn't had any snow for a couple of weeks so we were thrilled to take advantage of the great conditions with new friends I had got to know, a truly fantastic day! In the run in to our level 1, we had a week of teaching based drills and information thrown at us, so we couldn't wait to hit some fresh powder. The Friday the snow came, was probably one of my best days of the season. Not just the large amount, but in the powder you can really see how much your skiing is improving. Tree skiing, jumps, bumps, that Friday had it all and I will remember it for many years to come!
Would you recommend doing a NothinButSnow course to someone?
Yes, 100%, if you're passionate about skiing/snowboarding it is a must. Why not get qualified in something you love? Not just that, I can promise it will be the best 3 months of your life!
Did the NothinButSnow course live up to your expectations?
Yes, not only that it exceeded my expectations on multiple occasions throughout the 3 months at Big White.

NBS is simply the best in the business!

Lots of snowboarding! Amazing tutors and surrounded by cool people. Fantastic support from NBS, they really exceeded my expectations. My riding has improved massively and I can’t wait to come back to Big White next year, hopefully to job with Ski School!

For sure. Can’t begin to explain to someone who hasn’t done it how awesome it is. If anyone is considering it I’d say stop thinking about doing it and go book it!

Going on the website the course looked awesome from the accommodation, meals, the course and teaching, the resort Big White being ski-in ski-out, and really good value for money. Everything really!

The course was cool, I really liked how the instructors rotated every week so we got to experience different teaching styles from the really technical with lots of skiing drills to just skiing flat out all day covering loads of miles. It was impossible not to improve. Summed up... Loads of fun skiing, in a wicked resort with some awesome guys. Sam and Leigh from NBS were great.

Nothin But Snow Was Awesome!
What was the highlight of your trip?
Skiing fresh snow, some tree runs over at gem lake our instructor Lee took us through, which only the locals knew about. Plus the Bull Wheel burger is a bit of a highlight.
Would you recommend doing a NothinButSnow course to someone?
For sure! To anyone that wants to become a ski instructor or simply just improve their skiing, they definitely will.

I wanted to become an instructor and i had never been to Canada before. After speaking to Leigh i had my heart set on heading to Big White.

It was amazing. The tuition was intense but fun, the instructors were amazing skiers and really great people. The social aspect was like nothing i had experienced before and i made some fantastic friends who i still keep in contact with.

I choose the course because I was struggling to find things to do at home. I really enjoyed snowboarding and wanted to further my experience in it.

My course didn’t exactly start off the best with a fractured wrist on the first day, but Leigh and Sam did everything they could to make sure I still passed the course! By far the best experience I've ever had, and you're guaranteed to make friends who you will keep in contact with once home! I couldn’t recommend the course anymore if I tried!

The highlight of my trip was when I eventually passed my level 1 exam.. The relief was unbelievable!

It truly was an amazing 11 weeks that included pretty much every fun thing you can do in life. Everyday was a physical and mental challenge but was more than well worth it. Being in Big White has made me promise myself i will never miss another season in the mountains.

I really wanted to improve my riding and also get the certifications to become a snowboard instructor and have the best job. Just doing what i love everyday for work.

Simply reading peoples blogs and testimonials on the site really sold it to me. Hearing about their experiences with NBS having a great time just hit it home that is what i wanted to do. There was lots of training and the cost of the courses was far superior to the other companies i looked at.

It was an amazing time with NBS at big white in 2013-2014 season, met some great people and got to ride a ton. Big White is an awesome resort to board / ski at, its my 3rd season there and i would go back in a heart beat. Leigh ,Sam, Harry are a great bunch of guys. They will do anything to help you out and look after you while you are at the resort and training for your certifications. The training was amazing and being on snow every day improved my riding skills a truck load. Thanks to the crew at NBS for a great 3 months at Biggy...... it was BLOODY AWESOME!!!

Getting to ride powder and tree runs again. Getting that level 2 certification for snowboarding even tho i had a broken elbow .. hahaha

Yes id recommend NBS to anyone who was keen to do their qualifications or even just to improve your riding skills. NBS are a great company and definitely get 2 thumbs up.
Did your NothinButSnow course live up to its expectations?
It was more then expected , great accommodation, great food, great group of people living and riding with. From day one of meeting the NBS crew to leaving day was the best experience i have had with a great new bunch of guys and girls. I really miss the place a lot and would love to go back and ride with the NBS crew and work for them in a heart beat and Big White Ski Resort . Love it
Why did you choose to do a course?
I had worked in industry since I left school and wanted a change of direction in my life. I really enjoyed snowboarding so the idea of doing a job which I loved seemed a much better future prospect than working in a factory... A mountain filled with snow seemed a much cooler place to work!
What made you choose NothinButSnow?
I weighed up all the pro's and con's with the other companies and sent of e-mails to all of them. Aside from NBS offering a lot more for the same money, I also felt the e-mail sent from NBS seemed a lot more personal and that they were interested in what you wanted from the course, rather than just what they were going to offer you.

The best three months of my life without a shadow of a doubt! The course was absolutely amazing from the people on NBS with me, the accommodation, the instructors, the guys at NBS looking after us and even past NBS students who were working out in Big White had a lot of time for us. Everything seemed precisely calculated to give us the most epic time out there possible.

What was the highlight of your trip?
There's literally too many to mention! Passing the exams on the courses was a massive buzz, that seemed to intensify each time.
If I was to pick one individual highlight, I would have to say it was meeting twenty something random strangers and by the end of three months classing all these people as close friends.

Yes and I already have.
