Big White sees an ample 750cm of average snowfall each year. On an average day the snow feels bottomless, with a feeling you are quite literally floating around the mountain, its exceptional.
The slopes consist of varied terrain to keep your enjoyment raised above the peak, so to speak. With its quiet 118 runs full of dry “champagne powder” snow, which the resort is renowned for, the slopes at Big White are a joy to ski and ride.
For training purposes or whilst on your free days, the hill has a wide selection of terrain for your needs. For an extreme off piste run drop off the Cliff, for a carve up, hit one of the many great blues like Exhibition or for an easy cruise try riding Highway 33 back in to the village for a coffee. The terrain is truly diverse with absolutely amazing tree skiing and if you feel like showing off, the lift runs are epic.
For those that are more geared towards freestyle, the ski and snowboard TELUS park will more than deliver on features for you to grind, slide and pop off of. The park also plays host to a number of rail jams throughout the season and even gives you the option to enter and show off your newly perfected tricks. For convenience the TELUS park is serviced with a dedicated chair lift.
